Romantic Comedy MAYTAG VIRGIN Opens at ArtStage Studio Theater

The Florida Repertory Theater’s 2021-2022 season concludes with the humorous and heartwarming romantic comedy “Maytag Virgin” by Audrey Cefaly. Audrey Cefaly, who also wrote the world premiere of Florida Rep’s National New Play Network’s “Alabaster” in 2019, is scheduled to visit Fort Myers and participate in a post-performance discussion of her play at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23. Florida Rep is also pleased to announce that as of the first preview “Maytag Virgin” masks are no longer required in its ArtStage Studio Theater after the CDC relaxed its guidelines for masks at indoor events. Masks are optional in its largest space since March 15 since CDC data began showing a marked improvement in COVID-19 cases in the region.
