Realme Pad Mini spotted on company’s official website, India launch slated for soon

NEW DELHI: real me recently confirmed that it will launch its new GT series smartphone in India next week. Now it looks like the Chinese smartphone maker is also set to expand its Android tablet lineup in the country soon.
Realme launched its first Realme Pad Android tablet in India last year. Now the smartphone maker is ready to launch its toned down version – Realme Pad Mini in the countryside. Realme’s next Android tablet was recently spotted on the company’s website. However, the company has yet to officially reveal the launch date. Along with this, the yet to be launched Realme Pad Mini was also spotted in the latest Ask Madhav video on YouTube.
Realme recently launched the Realme Pad Mini in China. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India. The tablet is rumored to cost less than Rs 15,000.
Rumored Realme Pad Mini specs
Realme Pad Mini is said to sport an 8.7-inch WXGA+ display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. The Android tablet is expected to be powered by an octa-core UniSoc processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM.
The device is expected to come in two storage options – 32GB and 64GB. The device is also said to come with microSD card support.
Realme Pad Mini is rumored to run the Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own Realme UI layer for Pad. The Android tablet is said to sport an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter.
The device should contain two speakers and a single microphone. According to the listing, the Realme Pad Mini is said to be backed by a 6400mAh battery with 18W fast charging and reverse charging support.
