Jurassic World’s Bryce Dallas Howard grew up surrounded by animals

Howard and her family moved to Greenwich from Los Angeles when she was four, she told the the wall street journal in 2019. His parents chose the area because of its “excellent” school system and wildlife environment.

“They discovered Greenwich while looking for a house upstate New York in the mid-1980s,” Howard told the Log. “The surrounding area was lovely and stepped back in time. The landscape was wooded and rustic, with lakes and beautiful hills.”

Located in the Conyers Farm neighborhood of Greenwich, the Howard family’s custom-built home straddled the New York line to Armonk, but sold in 2014 for $27.5 million, according to the Associated Press. .

“Land was important, because we were big animal lovers,” Howard told the Journal. “By big, I mean we had dogs, cats, a pig, sheep, miniature donkeys, horses, a turtle, two birds and 20 chickens named Jennifer. They all looked alike and responded to the name.”

The actress, who plays Claire Dearing in ‘Jurassic World: Dominion,’ said walking through the woods behind her childhood home felt the same sense of “magic and mystery” as when she was a child.

“There’s a depth of feeling and presence there, like walking meditation without distraction. Best of all, I’m able to focus, quiet my thoughts, and dream,” she told the Journal. .

The father of the actress is the famous director Ron Howard. He directed critically acclaimed films, including “a beautiful spirit,” “Apollo 13” and “Kinship.” However, her father almost didn’t let the future ‘Jurassic’ actress watch the original “Jurassic parkwhen it was released. Howard’s character in “Jurassic World: Dominion” ended up reflecting his real love of animals. Dearing is an animal rights activist who advocates for extinct life – like dinosaurs – to have the same rights as other species. Dearing is also featured in “jurassic world,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and “Jurassic World: The Ride.”

Now that the ‘Jurassic’ series is coming to an end, Howard told TODAY that it was “difficult” to see it end, and the emotion of its ending “just kind of a success. [her] the past few days” as the film hits theaters.
