Downtown Spring Music Festival With Lil’ Wayne Forced To Postpone

A promising spring music and arts festival won’t take place until the fall, organizers said. the We are a music and arts festivala multi-genre arts/music weekend show scheduled for May 14-15 at Eleanor Tinsley Park near downtown, is now scheduled for November 12-13.

The festival president moved the date to “ensure the best possible experience for all attendees,” a press release noted.

Festival headliners included Lil’ Wayne (and his $150,000 worth of teeth), Lupe Fiasco, Illenium, Grimes, Japanese Breakfast, CL, Poppy and Duck Sauce. Scheduled performances included Latin folk dancing, live murals and a Dollhouse Drag brunch. Lil’ Wayne even posted on the festival on Instagram.
