Chapel Hill United Methodist Church Planning Annual Craft Show

Chapel Hill United Methodist Church has scheduled its annual craft show for October 1. The event is always popular, and Chapel Hill explained:

Chapel Hill Arts & Craft Show is held annually, the first Saturday in October from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year it will be October 1, 2022 at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds, 9122 US 31, Berrien Springs, MI 49103.

This juried arts and crafts fair has 230 exhibitors and has been in existence since 1979. There is a wide selection of handicrafts available for sale in the fair. The selection includes wearables, home decor, fine art, seasonal items, ceramics and
pottery, greeting cards, flowers and wreaths, fabric items, wood crafts, toys, stained glass and fused glass, handbags, rugs, soaps and body lotions, delicious edible items, dolls and children’s items, plants and products to name a few.

There are food trucks with a wide variety of offerings. Plentiful parking is free and the event is handicapped accessible. A bake sale is held at Yellow Barn 34 and the Michiana Two-Cylinder Club displays some of its vintage John Deere tractors.

Admission is a $3 donation.

Craftsmen hail from six states, and approximately 5,000 buyers attend the show each year. It is sponsored by Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and all proceeds go to local, national and international mission projects.

There is a searchable list of artisans on the website each year so that they can be contacted after the show by buyers.
