Lindner was mesmerized by the temple’s “aura of serenity and deep spirituality”.
“Return to last weekend and visit the richest and most visited temple in the world, the 1400 year old Shri Venkateshwara Temple (Tirumala Hills, Tirupati, AP). Ancient chants, rites and mantras. Legendary wealth. Huge crowds ( 70,000 a day), nevertheless will have serenity and deep spirituality,” he tweeted, sharing photos from the visit.

Lindner praised the photographer who clicked the photos of his visit to the temple.
“Tirupati Laddu or SriVari Laddu is the famous laddu sweet offered as Naivedhyam to Venkateswara at Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. Laddu is given as prasadam to devotees after having darshan in the temple. Around 300,000 are produced daily at the temple kitchen (800 cooks),” the German ambassador wrote in another tweet.

Earlier, Lindner also shared some snaps of him enjoying go ahead at Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar market.
“Even though Delhi’s temperature dipped from 44 to just 38 today 🥵, not everyone is unhappy with the current heat wave… like Prem Prakash (36, from Motihari/Bihar), who sells 300 at 400 chuskis a day. Enjoying an ekdum mast gola/chuski at Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar market. Asli mazaa yehi hai!” he said.
